(Geoffrey Miller) Wie ich anderswo erwähnt habe, spielt die Rhetorik (oft eine arg großsprecherische) der Männer in vielen Gesellschaften eine große Rolle, gerade was die sexuelle Attraktivität betrifft. Wir lernen zwar die Sprache von unseren Müttern, und manches spricht dafür, daß die Frauen die Sprache erfunden haben. Aber Rednerinnen gab es in der Antike kaum, und daran hat sich nicht viel geändert. Wahrscheinlich wegen der Angeberei, die eine männliche Spezialität geblieben ist (Pfauenräder, Löwenmähnen usw.).
